Multifocal lenses
Multifocal lenses

Multifocal lenses have a unique structure that combines a number of vision focal points. Therefore, it requires time to adapt to them gradually. Adjustment time varies from one person to another, and can last up to 50 days. Using the glasses for long periods of time may shorten the period of adjustment.

Important Facts Regarding Daily Use

To avoid risks, adapt to the glasses before using them for driving or operating various devices and machines, and use extra caution when performing any action that could result in an accident due to problems with vision and/or adaptation and/or the side effects listed below.

During the adjustment period, several side effects may occur, such as headaches, dizziness, watery eyes, disruption of the sharpness and precision of vision and disturbances to the sense of balance.

Recommendations for an Easier and Shorter Adjustment Period

In order to facilitate and shorten the period of adjustment, we recommend that activities that require looking sideways, such as using side view mirrors while driving, be carried out by turning your head and not just by shifting your eyes. Watching TV or reading while lying down is not recommended with multifocal lenses. Use only single focal glasses for these activities.
